Tre Cime di Lavaredo
The official climb starts at Lake Misurina and leads to Rifugio Auronzo, right below the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The toughest stretch is about 4 kilometers with a 10.5% average gradient, peaking at 16%. The scenery, though, is breathtaking all the way up. One of the Giro d’Italia’s most memorable recent stages ended here in 2013, with Vincenzo Nibali taking the win in the snow.
