Umbrail Pass
This is the Swiss side of the Stelvio. With its punishing gradients, a summit above 2,500 meters, and barely a stretch to catch your breath, it stands as one of the toughest climbs in the Alps. It was tackled in the 2017 Giro d’Italia, during the famous stage of Tom Dumoulin’s “nature break.”
