Coll de sa Batalla
Starting in the town of Caimari, this climb comes in at just under 8 km with a low average gradient of 5 percent, making it very accessible.
It is a scenic road that eases you upward with a series of smooth bends. The lower slopes wind through forest before the views open up as you gain height. Pine woodland lines much of the climb and offers welcome shade when the temperatures rise.
At the summit you will find the famous Coll de Sa Bataia café, next to the gas station, a classic stop for a well earned break.
This is a climb you will often see built into routes when staying in the northern part of the island.
