Pro cyclist Cees Bol mapped out this route, and it’s been a favourite ever since. It introduced a lot of riders in the Netherlands to gravel, but don’t worry, you’ll be fine on 25mm tyres. The surface is smooth and fast.
The loop takes you through the Gooi, a scenic area with gentle hills, lush greenery, and loads of character. It’s also known for its upscale homes and reputation as the place where the rich and famous live.
Since the area draws plenty of cyclists and hikers, make sure to slow down when passing others.
