Mirador del Río from Arrieta
Starting near the coast at Arrieta, this climb pulls you inland through the whitewashed villages of the north before pitching up toward the cliffs of Mirador del Río. The road narrows as you gain height, twisting through farmland and barren rock until the landscape drops away beneath you. The last section is exposed and often windy, with the sea shimmering below and La Graciosa island coming into view.
