Wurmberg
This climb starts on a perfectly paved and almost traffic free road, rising gently through long, straight sections in the forest. The gradient builds steadily, with the final 1.5 km becoming very steep and hitting ramps between 10 and 18 percent before easing again near the top. It finishes just below the summit where the road turns to gravel. This climb is one of the most challenging and interesting in the Harz.
