Escape into Belgium with this 67 km loop from Monschau. The scenery shifts from the dense Eifel to wide-open views and smooth climbs. Start on the Vennbahn, a former railway turned relaxed cycling path, then gently ascend toward Baraque Michel. From the top, enjoy a fast 14 km descent into Eupen before rolling past quiet reservoirs and rejoining the Vennbahn for a peaceful ride home.
You can ride the loop in the opposite direction, but note there’s no cycle path on the busy road up to Baraque Michel.
