Tour of Flanders Red Loop

Distance
115.5 km
Elevation
1269 m
Difficulty
hard

Expect a full day in the saddle on the red loop. It covers 116 kilometers and throws in some of the region’s toughest climbs, including the famous Muur van Geraardsbergen.

You roll out from Oudenaarde and make your way toward Brakel. Early on, climbs like Steenberg and Vossenhol will start testing your legs right away.

Around the halfway mark, it’s time for the Muur. It kicks up to 20 percent at its steepest and has long been the stage for race-winning moves in the Tour. But it doesn’t stop there. You’ve still got the Bosberg, Haaghoek, and Pottelberg to tackle before the final stretch back to Oudenaarde.
