The Maratona dles Dolomites is Italy’s most iconic Gran Fondo, drawing cyclists from around the globe. This legendary route features some of the toughest climbs in the Dolomites. After an opening loop around the Sellaronda, you return to Corvara to tackle Passo Campolongo a second time. Then comes the formidable Passo Giau, followed by the lunar-like landscape of Passo Valparola. The final sting is the Mür dl Giat (“Wall of the Cat”), with a brutal 19% gradient. More than a challenge, it’s the Maratona.
