Through the Serra and Back

With sweeping views of the coast and climbs into the hills, this route gives you a bit of everything the Algarve has to offer.

First up is the ride through Bensafrim and over the Serra de Espinhaço de Cão to reach the coast. Aljezur is your first chance for a coffee, or you can hold out until Monchique.

After Aljezur, the road twists its way around Fóia with views that make the effort worth it. From Monchique, it’s mostly a steady descent all the way back to the coast.
