Gran Fondo Costa Velo

This is the full route of the Gran Fondo Costa Velo: 154 kilometers and over 3000 meters of climbing, linking several of the most ridden climbs in the Costa Blanca. It starts in Parcent and heads up straight to Coll de Rates, then drops into the Guadalest canyon with the castle visible from the ridge. From the bottom, the road climbs again toward Confrides, where you can stop at El Pirineo before the final push. A short drop helps recover before the start of Puerto de Tudons, a steady climb through forest and open ridges. The descent takes you toward Benilloba, another good place to refuel before tackling Vall d’Ebo from the south, a quiet and exposed climb that winds through dry terraces. From there, it’s a rolling return through the valley roads back to Parcent.
