Guadalest Loop

This loop serves up over 2000 metres of climbing and links together some of the most rewarding terrain in the Costa Blanca. Starting in Parcent, you head up Coll de Rates, drop down toward Tàrbena, then roll through a series of winding roads to Callosa. From there, it’s up past the castle in Guadalest and into the full climb of Puerto de Confrides.

At the summit, the route threads through small towns on narrow, quiet roads, with mountain views and stone terraces all the way to Castell de Castells. The final challenge is the descent of Sa Creueta, bringing you back into Coll de Rates for one last fast, flowing drop into Parcent.
