Out to Tollos and back

This loop from Parcent links together some of the most scenic interior valleys of the region, with a mix of open climbs and quiet village roads. It starts by descending toward Orba and through the orange groves of the lower valley before climbing Vall d’Ebo from Pego, a winding ascent with wide views and fresh tarmac. From there, the road cuts across the Vall de Alcalà and continues along the panoramic stretch through Vall de Gallinera, lined with stone terraces and small villages. The climb to Puerto de Tollos is steady and remote, followed by a fast descent through Famorca and Castell de Castells. The return through the Jalón valley is gentle, with a final roll past vineyards back to Parcent.
