Istán and Benahavis

A shorter ride that fits in two climbs and a mix of coastal and mountain scenery. It starts with the ascent to Istán. The road winds steadily upward above the La Concepción reservoir, opening wide views across the water and the surrounding peaks. After descending back down the same road, the route turns west toward Benahavís.

The road goes aroudn the town of Benahavís before dropping into Guadalmina. From there, a flat coastal stretch leads you back into Marbella.

If you want to keep it shorter, you can skip the climb to Istán. That trims the ride down to roughly 34 km.
