Puerto Martínez and Puerto del Viento from Ronda

This long ride links two major climbs with a wide loop around the southern edge of the Sierra de las Nieves. It begins with the ascent and descent of Puerto del Viento, dropping into El Burgo before heading southeast into softer, more cultivated terrain. The road flows through quiet valleys and farmland, gradually going around the base of the sierra.

After a long stretch of rolling terrain, the route turns back north and begins the climb to Puerto Martínez, rising between olive groves and pine woods near Casarabonela. A short descent returns to El Burgo, where the road climbs once more over Puerto del Viento, before the descent into Ronda.
