Head south from Canazei toward Karersee. The road rewards you with stunning views of a crisp blue lake as you climb Passo di Costalunga. From the top, a long descent rolls you down to the base of Passo di Pampeago, also known as Reiterjoch. This is a serious test of the legs, with over 1000 meters of climbing waiting ahead.
