This is a hard climbing day that tackles the steepest, quietest side of the Grand Ballon. You start by grinding through the tight, forested hairpins that gained fame during the 2026 Tour de France.
The gradient doesn't let up until you reach the grassy ridge at Col du Haag. It's only one more hairpin to the Gran Ballon. From the top, you drop onto the Route des Crêtes for a high-speed, wide-open descent back into the valley.
