Loorberg
The Loorberg is a favorite for many riders in South Limburg. It’s got that smooth, steady feel with a wide road, clean pavement, and gorgeous views all around. The average gradient is 5.4 percent, with the steepest ramp reaching 8.4.
The climb kicks off at Restaurant De Brug, right by the Gulp river. After a wide right turn, you're straight into it. The hardest stretch comes before the hairpin. Many riders think they’ve reached the top when they see Hotel Slenaken. But in the right-hand bend that follows, the road keeps climbing with a subtle false flat.
