Kruisberg
The Kruisberg is only 600 meters long, but don’t let that fool you. It’s seriously steep. Most riders know it as the warm-up to the Eyserbosweg, which follows right after.
The climb begins just as you leave Wahlwiller. It starts off easy, but quickly ramps up to 14 percent for about 150 meters, with a max gradient hitting 16 percent. Once the forest begins to thin out, the road eases up and you're nearly at the top.
