Port d’Envalira is the highest paved mountain pass in the Pyrenees, topping out at 2,400 meters. The climb finishes just beyond Hotel Pic Maia. It’s a long, steady ascent that never gets too steep. The road surface is solid, though the lower slopes can see a bit of traffic.
