Feldberg from Oberursel

A true Taunus classic. There are different ways to reach the top of Großer Feldberg, but this is the most frequented one by cyclists from Frankfurt to test their climbing form. It's one of the longest road climbs you can do anywhere in this part of Germany. The gradients are steady, the asphalt is very good. The last two kilometers are steeper, so depending on how well you paced your effort, they can sting. On weekends, this road can get busy with sports cars, so it's best to go outside of rush hour.
