Mont Ventoux / Col de Murs

Col de Murs

Length
10.4 km
Elevation
423 m
Gradient
4.1%

Starts from one of the most striking hilltop villages in the area. The first ±5km climb out of the valley through forest, farmland, and vineyards on smooth road. After that you wind steadily up through a gorge with limestone walls on either side, which gives it a more enclosed feel than the open climbs around Ventoux.

As you gain height, the views open toward the Luberon. The gradient is steady and never punishing, so it works well late in a long day when your legs are already loaded.
