Start in Puerto del Carmen and climb north toward La Asomada, with smooth asphalt winding between volcanic slopes and vineyards. Push through La Gería for stunning views of dark ash valleys and green vines bordered by stone walls. Take a break in Yaiza, offering quiet cafes and small bakeries perfect for refueling.
Continue south past La Hoya and on to Playa Blanca, where the coast opens up with panoramic sea views. The climb through Las Breñas brings you up to over 900 meters for the day, with open landscapes and occasional wind. Head back to Yaiza and Uga, then turn onto the LZ-2 for the rolling return through Puerto Calero and back to Puerto del Carmen. This 61 kilometer loop offers volcanic terrain, vineyard scenery, and a blend of gentle and challenging climbs, always with a chance to pause in Lanzarote’s welcoming villages.
