This ride from Teror feels like a relaxed expedition from the hills down to the sea and back. Leaving the old town, you climb gently through open farmland and shaded groves toward Vega de San Mateo on quiet tertiary roads, with the landscape opening out to views of rolling hills and distant ridges. From there you join the GC‑15 and begin the long, pleasant descent toward Santa Brígida, skirting the northern foothills and picking up glimpses of the eastern coast. The road drops you into Las Palmas, where you can loop past the city’s beaches, feel the sea breeze and take in the contrast between urban life and island interior. After soaking in the coastal atmosphere, the return begins with a gentle climb out of the city back toward the foothills. Quiet backroads and open fields lead you back to Teror.
