Oulles

A hidden gem located In a remote valley not far from Bourg d'Oisans.

You turn off the main valley road just outside Bourg d'Oisans and almost immediately the traffic disappears. The road narrows and pushes into dense forest, and for the first half of the climb you're riding in shade with rock walls close on one side and a drop on the other.

The upper section opens out as you approach the village. Oulles sits inside the Écrins National Park, and by the time you reach it you'll have seen maybe two other vehicles the whole way up.
