Leave Puerto del Carmen and ride through Tías, Guime, and the edge of Arrecife before reaching Costa Teguise. Head north through Guatiza and Órzola, where black lava fields meet the Atlantic. From there, climb to Mirador del Río, a steady 10 kilometers lined with volcanic stone and sweeping ocean views.
There are nice coffee and snacks stops in Yé, Haría, or Máguez. Continue through the palm valley of Haría, then roll south through Teguise and Mozaga into La Geria before returning to Puerto del Carmen via La Asomada.
