This ride is a great display of the dutch landscape over time. You'll leave Amsterdam along the Amstel which meanders through the landscape and gives view over various polders like Rondehoep. On the return you'll follow the Ringvaart, a canal around the Haarlemmermeer polder which is a much younger polder and know for more straight lines in the landscape.
Besides a scenic ride this route also is low on traffic and ideal for a training or group ride.
