The route weaves through the mountains with a steady rhythm of climbs and descents. You are always moving up and down, collecting elevation and enjoying fast downhill moments. It makes for a full and rewarding day on the bike, with the altitude gain spread out nicely. The final climb to the Coll de Sóller asks for one last push. Dig in and enjoy it. From the top, you are rewarded with a long, flowing descent all the way back to Palma.

The Ma-10 route is the most iconic ride in the Serra de Tramuntana, offering a combination of challenging climbs and breathtaking coastal views. You can ride the route in both direction and both are equally beautiful. To ride this route we recommend booking a ride on the Mallorca Cycle Shuttle which will take you to the start of the ride or bring you back home. We'd suggest to take the shuttle to the starting point in the morning so you don't have to worry about the logistics at the end of the ride.

Loop to Banyalbufar and Andratx

This is a perfect coffee ride or warmup when you just arrived in Palma. From the city you head out straight to Sa Creu and after a descent to Es Capdella you immediately start with the climb to Galilea. Once you reach the top it is a smooth, continuous descent all the way back to Palma.

This route leads you to the beautiful Ma-10 along the coastline. To reach it, follow the roads toward Valldemossa and enjoy the calm approach through classic Mallorcan scenery. From Valldemossa you are rewarded with a fast descent and stunning views over the rugged coastline. It is a thrilling stretch of road that feels made for road cycling. If you want to shorten the ride, you can cut about 25 km by taking a left turn at the T-junction just before Esporles.
