Port de la Vall d'Ebo
Coming from Calpe, turn left just before Pego and the climb begins right away. It starts gently through orange groves, then twists into forested switchbacks before opening up to sweeping views of the Pego Valley and coastline.
The climb runs for almost 8 km at an average of 5.7%, with smooth tarmac and hardly any traffic. From the top, you can descend back, continue through Vall d’Ebo, or take on the tougher route toward Alcalà de la Jovada via the CV-712.
