Puerto de Santopitar is a long and scenic climb in the Axarquía. Starting from the MA 3107, the ascent can be split into two clear sections. The first part climbs toward Alto de Comares, near the village of the same name. It begins with a steep ramp and then settles into an easier rhythm. After this, the road drops down toward Los Ventorros before the final section begins. The last ascent to Santopitar rewards you with wide views over the surrounding hills and out toward the coast.
