Cuesta del Chino is a short but demanding climb that leads to the village of Alfarnatejo, tucked into the upper Axarquía. The road winds between olive groves and terraces, with steep ramps at the bottom and middle part of the climb. Once you come through the hairpin corner at around 4 kilometers it becomes easier.
