Kniebis
The Kniebis Climb is a 5.78-kilometre uphill in the Northern Black Forest rising about 376 metres at an average gradient of around 6.5%. Starting near the Alexanderschanze, the climb stays consistently uphill with moderate gradients throughout. Kniebis is located at an altitude of almost 1,000 meters. Although the climb up will make you sweat, it is significantly cooler at the top than in the valley. Perfect for the summer months.
